Halloween is here! Whether you’re heading out trick-or-treating, enjoying a spooky evening with friends or welcoming little monsters to your door, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable night.

A few friendly reminders to help everyone enjoy the evening:

🎃 Stay safe: Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult, stick to well-lit streets and take extra care when crossing roads.

👻 Be considerate: Not everyone wants to take part in Halloween. Please respect residents who don’t wish to be disturbed. Look out for signs indicating that households aren’t participating and don’t knock on doors where this is clearly indicated.

🍬 Think before you knock: Keep noise to a reasonable level, respect people’s property and remember that not everyone enjoys a fright!

And finally, if you happen to spot your local Police officers out and about tonight, don’t worry we’re not part of the Halloween fancy dress competition! We’ll be sticking to our standard high-visibility uniform.
