Theft of 2 seater Arbour

Theft of 2 seater Arbour

Hello, North Yorkshire Police Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for your help regarding a theft that took place on Scarcroft allotments between the dates and times of the 03/10/2026 19:30 and the 04/10/2026 14:00.

At some point during this time a wooden 2 seater Arbour has been taken from one of the allotments without the owners permission. We are aware this is not a small item and not the usual thing an opportunist would take.

As such we are appealing for anyone who may have seen someone walking out of the allotments with the bench during this time and at the time may have thought nothing of it. Also if anyone nearby the allotments, mainly towards the Telford Terrance end, could review CCTV they have that could show any potential suspects or narrow down the time frame for the theft.

Attached are a couple of pictures of the item stolen.

Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Kind regards

PC DYE
