Tadcaster indecent exposure - appeal for dog walkers to come forward |
||
|
Detectives investigating an incident of indecent exposure are appealing for dog walkers and members of the public in the Tadcaster area to come forward. In particular they are appealing to women and girls who have walked their dog along Tadcaster riverbank, between Tadcaster Bridge and Tadcaster viaduct at any point in July. The appeal follows the discovery of video footage as part of a separate investigation that suggests a potential victim of indecent exposure may not have been aware of what happened and has not reported it to the police. It is really important that we trace the victim and any other witnesses who may be able to assist our investigation. If you have used the footpath in the past two months or if you have witnessed indecent exposure or sexual acts, but have not reported them to the police, please come forward as soon as possible. If you can help our investigation, please get in touch: Please quote reference number 12260116388 when passing on information. Witnesses can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online via their website. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains under investigation. He is due to appear in court in relation to other matters.
