🚓 Appeal for Information – Criminal Damage to Vehicle, Albemarle Road

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following criminal damage to a vehicle on Albemarle Road.

Between 5:00pm on Friday 10 July 2026 and 8:00am on Monday 13 July 2026, the window of a white Toyota Aygo was smashed while the vehicle was parked in the area.

We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, saw any suspicious activity, or has relevant CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage from the area during this time period to get in touch.

Although criminals are responsible for their actions, leaving items on display inside vehicles can sometimes attract unwanted attention. Please help reduce the risk of vehicle crime by removing all valuables when leaving your vehicle unattended, including bags, wallets, mobile phones, sat navs, and loose change. If valuable items must be left in the vehicle, ensure they are hidden from view and the vehicle is locked and secure.
