Dear Resident, 

Did you know about YorSensory? This fantastic service, run by the Wilberforce Trust and commissioned by City of York Council, helps people living with sensory impairments across our community.

👂👁️ Who is it for?
Anyone who is visually impaired, D/deaf, hard of hearing, or experiencing dual sensory loss.

💬 What support is available?
✔️ Assessments and personalised support
✔️ Advice, information, and rehabilitation
✔️ Specialist equipment demonstrations
✔️ Outreach visits
✔️ Sensory awareness training
✔️ Social & support groups (including tinnitus, vision & hearing support)

🔧 Helpful equipment available to loan includes:
• Flashing or vibrating doorbells
• Alarm clocks
• TV loop systems
• Baby monitors
• Pager systems
• Canes
• Talking clocks – and more!

🤝 The friendly YorSensory team work closely with other services too, so if they can’t help directly, they’ll guide you to someone who can.
