🚨🏍️ Off‑Road Bikes Putting Our Community at Risk 🚨🏍️ We are receiving multiple reports of off‑road bikes being used in an antisocial and dangerous manner in the Abbots Road area of Selby. 📝 We need your help: Please provide any information you may have, including: Names or nicknames usedAddresses or suspected addresses where the riders may liveDescriptions of the bikes (colour, make, decals)Descriptions of the riders (clothing, helmets)Sightings, including dates, times and exact locations⚖️ The law It is an offence to ride a motorbike on the road without a valid driving licence, insurance, tax or MOT. Riding in a manner that causes alarm, distress or danger constitutes antisocial behaviour. Motorbikes being used illegally can and will be seized, and riders reported for multiple offences. 👨👩👧 Parents and carers If your child owns or uses an off‑road bike, please ensure it is being used lawfully and responsibly. Residents have raised concerns about the safety of members of the public and the riders themselves, with a real risk of serious injury. 🚨 A quick reminder A motorbike was seized on this estate on 19th April 2026.
