door to door caller

Dear residents, on the 02/05/26 North Yorkshire Police  received a complaint in relation to a female who has been going door to door in Pateley Bridge. The female had a plaque around her neck stating she was deaf and none verbal, followed by a request for money, although she had not spoken to residents she had been forceful in her manner, and with one resident had managed to get into the home owners property by quickly pushing past them, she had then taken money from within the property. 

The female was white and approximately thirty years of age with brown hair tied back in a pony tail. 

Please be cautious of any persons going door to door. If you encounter this particular individual please ring 999 and quote the following incident number 12260079389
