🚨 Community Message – Appeal for Information 🚨

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following reports of suspicious activity in Crossgates.

During the late evening of 04/05/2026, an unknown male was seen attempting to gain access to vehicles in the Station Road, Byward Drive, and Rydal Crescent area. Officers are carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to assist.

Please get in touch if you:

Saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas

Have CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage covering Station Road, Byward Drive, or Rydal Crescent

Have any information, no matter how small, that could help our enquiries
