Traveller led Pony and Trap procession

Good afternoon,

On Saturday the 18th April there will be a Traveller‑led Pony and Trap procession being held around 11:30 to 17:00. This event was run last year and presented some traffic disruption. As such this message is to be aware of the potential for the same again. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure minimal disruption is felt by all, this can not be guaranteed. 

The procession is believed to be starting from JAMES STREET and the potential route could take it up to NEW EARSWICK, towards WATER LANE, ACOMB, along SOUTH BANK and back to JAMES STREET. This could be in the opposite way round or changes could be made on the day. We will be working dynamically in order to ensure minimal disruption throughout the day. This message is for awareness to allow for extra travel time.
