Suspicious Vehicle Seen Early Morning 23/02/26

Dear resident, 

This morning North Yorkshire Police received a call in relation to a suspicious vehicle in Aldbrough St John. 

At approximately 05:15 hours this morning, a car was seen driving slowly around the village, flashing its lights before turning them off completely and then driving off at speed towards Manfield, still with its lights off. 

The car was described as a small dark coloured vehicle, similar to a Ford Fiesta and possibly displaying ‘L’ plates. 

We would be grateful if residents could check any CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam footage around this time, and for any residents of Aldbrough St John or nearby villages who may have seen the vehicle to respond to this message.
