Attempted Break-In, Leeds Road, Tadcaster

Police in Tadcaster are appealing for information following an attempted break‑in at a commercial property on Leeds Road.

Sometime over the weekend, unknown individuals have tried to gain entry to the premises, causing damage in the process. At this stage it is believed that the suspects were unsuccessful, and nothing has been reported stolen.

Officers are carrying out ongoing enquiries, including CCTV work and speaking with nearby businesses, to establish the full circumstances.

We are now asking for the public’s help. If you were in the area over the weekend and saw anything suspicious, or if you have any dash‑cam or private CCTV footage that may assist the investigation, please get in touch.
