We have recently received several reports regarding the theft of delivery parcels from doorsteps within our area. To ensure your deliveries arrive safely and to discourage opportunistic theft, please consider the following safety tips:

Track in Real-Time: Use delivery apps to monitor your package’s progress and bring it inside as soon as it arrives.
Specify a Safe Place: Use the "delivery instructions" feature to request that packages be left behind a gate, with a trusted neighbour, or in a less visible spot.
Use Pickup Points: Consider using local lockers (like Amazon Hub) or "Click & Collect" services for high-value items.
Install Security Tech: Video doorbells and motion-activated lights are excellent deterrents and provide vital evidence if a theft occurs.
Require a Signature: For expensive electronics or jewellery, opting for "Signature Required" ensures the box isn't left unattended.
🤝 Watch Out for Each Other
The best defence is a connected neighbourhood. If you see a package sitting on a neighbour's porch and you know they aren't home, reach out and offer to tuck it away for them.
