Feet on the Street Scalby - 06/02/2026 - 13:00hrs-14:30hrs

We’re pleased to let residents know that ‘Feet on the Street’ patrols will be taking place in Scalby, 13:00hrs - 14:30hrs today, delivered in partnership with Beyond Housing, a North Yorkshire Council Community Safety Officer and your local Rural Police Community Support Officer.

These joint patrols are designed to:

Provide a visible and reassuring presence in the community

Listen to any concerns from residents

Identify and address local issues such as anti-social behaviour, environmental concerns, or community safety matters

Strengthen partnership working between local agencies and the community

Improve engagement with residents in more isolated or rural locations

Our teams will be out on regular walking patrols in key areas across Scalby starting at Chichester Close and heading to High Mill. If you see us while we’re out and about, please feel free to stop and chat—we’re here to help.

Working together, we can help keep Scalby a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
