Anti Social Behaviour, Low Street, Carlton

At approx. 1934hrs on Tuesday 27th January, North Yorkshire Police received a rerpot of anti social behaviour in the village of Carlton.

The report stated that 4-5 youths, ages around 14-15yrs had broken into the office area of the old coach buiding on Low Street. They were using their phones as torches.

The building is believed to be derelict. Youths should NOT be accessing the area both for safety reasons and in terms of criminal related activity.

Officers were deployed but no youths were encountered at the time.

Please can we encourage parents to speak to their children to ensure that they know the dangers of such sites and the consequences of their actions should police find them there having gained entry unlawfully.
