Another E-bike seized in your area

Over the last 6 months, we have had numerous reports of a high power illegal E-bike in the Fulford and Germany Beck area. Yesterday, NYP officers seized an illegal E-Bike in the Germany Beck area following a brief chase. The rider of the E-Bike was foiled by the winter weather and slipped off on ice, right in front of a police van. He was arrested for failing to stop, no insurance and riding without a helmet. 

We are cracking down on use of these E-Bikes as their use is often anti social and dangerous. If you see someone riding one, please report it to police on our non emergency phone number 101, quote Operation Pendulum.
