Good afternoon, 

North Yorkshire Police are receiving multiple reports of children and adults walking/playing on the ice on RAWCLIFFE LAKE, YORK.

We understand that it could be "fun" however, please could we remind you how dangerous this could be and ask you not to go onto any frozen lakes. Not only are you putting yourselves at risk, you could also be putting the Emergency Services staff at risk should you require rescuing.
