Crime Update - Theft Of Motorcycle in Sherburn in Elmet 24/12/2025

Good afternoon , some GOOD NEWS…….

Following the earlier circulation advising you of the theft of a motorcycle in Sherburn, we can now update you that the bike has been recovered and that a suspect has been arrested in relation to the offence. Police enquiries are continuing .

On the 24th December 2025 at approximately 07:20hrs a motorcycle has been stolen without keys from a garden shed of a property on Horsa Place in Sherburn In Elmet.

The stolen motorcycle is a Honda Hornet 600cc in red with a registration of T827 YDV (please see attached photograph)

The motorcycle has left Horsa Place onto Fairfield Link before turning left onto the Fairway towards Low Street.

Please can residents check their CCTV / ring door cameras etc and report any sighting to officer in case PC405 Tom Stubbs at tom.stubbs@northyorkshire.police.uk quoting reference 12250241042.
