My name is Craig Regan and I’m writing to you as the new Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Scarborough.

I wanted to share my plans with you to improve how the messages are sent to you via this email service. 

You may see an increase in updates as to what is happening in your local area and across Scarborough as a whole. I aim to send out a message every month to share a summary of what we, as your neighbourhood team have been doing. I will also send a survey to all residents to gather feedback, enabling us to have a better understanding of what is important to our residents. 

I am asking my team to ensure relevant and timely messages are being sent. I would like to encourage you to reach out, should you need to, to your local officers by replying to the messages. 

The service isn’t designed to be a shortcut to report crime and incidents, however, you can do this via our website at www.northyorkshire.police.uk
