Road Safety & Traffic

As we launch our summer drink and drug drive campaign, we are asking people to think

"How am I getting home?”

We know that many people will be looking forward to meeting up with mates over the summer months, however, we want to remind drivers that a split-second decision could lead to catastrophic circumstances.

So, to mark the start of our latest campaign, we’re asking you to watch and share our social media reel.

In Scarborough, our road safety work has continued. Following calls in relation to anti-social driving, we have been focusing our attention on Royal Albert Drive, Scalby Mills Road, the Sealife Centre car park and the old swimming pool car park.

We have been using our hand-held speed gun and engaging with drivers in the area.

We encourage our residents to report anti-social driving to us by:

Call 101

Report online at www.northyorkshire.police.uk

Drop in to the Police Station between 8am and 8pm.

Kind Regards
