This morning the School Liaison Officer was joined by local NPT at Camblesforth Primary School.
Children in the older years were given an input on anti-social behaviour , crime and consequences and the impact that both can have on local communities.
The children were wonderful , listened very carefully and gave some very informed answers to questions.
In the lead up to the school summer holidays, we can anticipate an increase in reports of youth related anti-social behaviour. School inputs at both primary and secondary level by the School Liaison Team are part of the plans to help prevent this.
If young people are causing issues, then please make a report so that the Neighbourhood Policing Team can address the problem as soon as possible.
To be clear, we will not move children on who are not causing issues. Their presence alone is not an issue in most circumstances.
Anti social behaviour can be reported by contacting NYP on tel 101 or by using our on-line reporting tool.
