Police are investigating the theft of a Yamaha Moped in Orange & White from the front of an address on Melwood grove in York. Two offenders in dark clothing with hoods up approached the moped at 0114hrs on 15/04/2024 on push bikes, one disengaged the steering lock and pushed the moped away whilst the other offender took the bikes they arrived on. The moped was discovered later that day close by on Sherwood Grove. 

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV, video doorbell or a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

Do you have any knowledge of individuals seen with an orange & white Yamaha Scooter in that location on that date ?
