Numerous Burglaries - Acomb / Foxwood


Good afternoon Acomb + Foxwood residents, 

 

Unfortunately over the last few days there has been at least 6 burglaries to sheds / garages, across Acomb / Foxwood, as follows: 

 

13/04/24 - BELLHOUSE WAY, FOXWOOD - Overnight between midnight and 04:24 - There has been attempts to break into shed, CCTV shows 2 youths trying to break into shed using bolt croppers, before being disrupted by a security light. 

13/04/24 - Around 04:30am - WILLOUGHBY WAY, FOXWOOD - A shed has been broken into and bicycle stolen from within. The bicycle is a Trek mountain bike in blue + black worth £700. CCTV indicates 4 youths have been involved. 

Between 13/04/24 - 11pm - 12:30pm on 14/04/2024 - BEAGLE RIDGE DRIVE, FOXWOOD - Van and garage have both been broken into, tools stolen from within van and items stolen from within garage. 

14/04/24 - 02:44am - 03:12am - THE REEVES, ACOMB - Attempts have been made to break into 2 vans parked on the street, both being unsuccessful in gaining entry but oth vans damaged causing financial loss to victims. CCTV indicates 4 youths involved. 

Between 15/04/24 - 16/04/24 - BURGESS WALK, FOXWOOD - A shed has been broken into and a Cube Travel Pro bicycle has been stolen from within, worth £700. 

16/04/24 around 03:04am - BELLHOUSE WAY, FOXWOOD (Spurr Court end) - 3 bicycles stolen from back garden, victim disturbs 3 youths who have dumped the bicycles, which are now back with the victim.
