Listen Up! County Lines

Following our post last week the Selby Neighbourhood Policing team attended Selby Abbey on the 8th December 2025, to meet with local Author, Christina Gabbitas, and a member from Restorative Justice to discuss her ‘Listen Up!’ initiative, this gives children and young people a voice on the topic of county lines and exploitation.

Christina’s exhibition is at the Abbey until the Sunday 14th December so please feel free to go along and discuss the issues that our children and young people are facing.

North Yorkshire Police share Christina’s passion for keeping children and young people safe on a day to day basis. It has been a fantastic opportunity for partnership working and keeping up to date with the work Christina is doing.
